All bookings must be made in writing via email or our booking platform.
A 40% deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the balance due at least 30 days before the safari start date.
Bookings made less than 30 days before departure must be paid in full.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be received in writing.
More than 30 days before safari: 70% refund of total cost.
15–30 days before safari: 50% refund of total cost.
7–14 days before safari: 25% refund of total cost.
Less than 7 days before safari: No refund.
No refunds are issued for no-shows or unused services.
3. Payment Terms
All payments must be made via bank transfer
Client is responsible for any transaction or bank fees incurred.
Failure to make payment on time may result in cancellation without notice.
4. Changes by the Client
Requests to change itineraries must be made in writing.
Changes may be subject to additional charges, especially for last-minute modifications.
5. Changes by Maasailand Adventure
We reserve the right to modify the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, park access, or safety).
Where possible, we will offer an alternative of equal value.
6. Travel Insurance
All clients are strongly advised to have comprehensive travel insurance.
Insurance should cover medical expenses, trip cancellations, personal belongings, and emergency evacuation.
Tanzania has the new insurance policy introduced for all travelers which is $44 per client (I WILL CONFIRM THIS)
7. Liability
Maasailand Adventure is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or irregularity arising from any act or omission of third-party service providers.
Clients participate at their own risk, especially in activities involving wildlife, hiking, or cultural interactions.
8. Health and Vaccinations
Clients are responsible for ensuring they meet health and vaccination requirements (e.g., yellow fever).
Consult with a doctor or travel clinic before travel.
9. Visas and Entry Requirements
Clients are responsible for obtaining valid travel documents, including passports and visas.
Maasailand Adventure will assist with guidance, but final responsibility lies with the traveler.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Any disputes shall be settled under Tanzanian jurisdiction.
