Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge

Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge is a budget‑friendly lodge situated just a few hundred metres from the Ngorongoro Crater rim within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Originally the residence of the crater’s first conservator, it now offers 24 simple but comfortable en‑suite rooms built in L‑shaped wings around a central courtyard, each with a private veranda overlooking montane forest. The lodge has a rustic, low‑impact style and provides African‑inspired meals, warm hospitality by mostly Maasai staff, and a cozy social lounge/dining area with fireplaces.
