1

Arrival in Arusha -Transfer to Lodge

Upon arrival, you’ll meet your driver and transfer to your lodge in Arusha. You’ll enjoy optional activities such as visiting one of the renowned art galleries or the bustling Arusha Maasai Central Market, where you can explore wood crafts, and paintings, and even learn to make bracelets. Relax and prepare for the exciting adventures ahead.

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Today, you will explore Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast size and large elephant population. The park is distinguished by its majestic baobab trees and the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water source, attracting a variety of wildlife. You’ll spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to 600 elephants. You will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for a half-day game drive. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing your wildlife exploration. Lake Manyara is home to lions, buffalo, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, impalas, warthogs, elephants, hippos, and over 300 bird species. You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Manyara - Lake Natron

Today begins with a leisurely drive to Lake Natron. After lunch, you will take a 2-hour guided walk to the Ngaresero Waterfall. In the evening, you will stroll along the shores of Lake Natron, renowned for being a crucial breeding site for lesser flamingos. During the breeding season, the lake can host up to 2.5 million flamingos, with peak activity from October to December. You will enjoy the stunning sunset over the East African Great Rift Valley. You will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Natron - Northern Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart Lake Natron for the Serengeti, a drive of up to 4 hours that showcases Tanzania’s diverse landscapes. Transition from arid terrain to the lush, green surroundings of the Rift Valley. You will spend the day on game drives in the Northern Serengeti, particularly around the Wogatende (Mara River) area, to experience the great migration. With luck, you may witness a dramatic Mara River crossing. The Northern Serengeti’s rocky outcrops provide excellent vantage points for spotting predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephants. You’ll enjoy your overnight stay at Serengeti North Camp.

Northern Serengeti National Park

Today, you’ll enjoy a full day exploring the Northern Serengeti, with a focus on witnessing the dramatic river crossings. You can choose between morning and afternoon game drives or opt for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes. Take in the Serengeti’s stunning geographical features, including the iconic rocky outcrops that play a crucial role in the ecosystem. You will return to the camp for your overnight stay.

Central Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti boasts diverse habitats, from wooded forests to open plains, teeming with wildlife in all forms—whether roaming, leaping, flying, or crawling. As home to Africa’s Big Five, Serengeti National Park is an ideal spot to see lions in various states, from lounging in the shade to pursuing prey or defending their kills. You will enjoy an en-route game drive from the Northern to the Central Serengeti. After several days in the safari Jeep, you have the option for a 2-hour guided walk with an armed ranger to stretch your legs and experience the park from a different perspective. Your overnight stay will be at the tented camp.

Ngorongoro Crater

Today begins with an early morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll spend the full day exploring with a picnic lunch inside the crater. Supported by a year-round water supply and ample fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants.

You’ll visit Lake Magadi, a large shallow alkaline lake in the crater’s southwestern corner, known for its flamingos, hippos, and other water birds. After lunch, you will drive back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour

Today begins with a relaxed start. You’ll take a short drive to Mto wa Mbu village and meet your local guide for a 2 to 3-hour walking tour through the town and surrounding village. You’ll engage with the local community, learn about their way of life, and witness the traditional process of making banana beer. You will enjoy a local lunch during the excursion. Afterward, you will transfer back to Arusha or the airport for your departure.
